Hollywood native
Jo Martin got her start in the film industry as a driver for visual effects master Peter Kuran at VCE, Inc., in Hollywood.
Where she spent years serving in various capacities including production assistant, stage manager, props, wardrobe, videography,
visual effects editor and eventually video editor. Martin’s credits include “Robocop,” “Beetlejuice,”
“The Addams Family” and “Starship Troopers.” After VCE, Martin spent three years as an animation editor
with Hyper Image in Glendale, where her credits include “Trollz,” “Horseland” "Dino Squad"
and “Strawberry Shortcake.” Her side projects include a short video about The Exotic World Museum, now known as
The Burlesque Hall of Fame Museum (Las Vegas, NV) and for the past six years, Martin has worked with the executive team from
Carlton Hair International directing, shooting and editing video shorts for their annual Hair Show & Award Ceremony. Martin
most recently worked as Visual FX Coordinator and Editor with Moving Target, in Santa Monica. Moving Target provided Visual
Effects for Icon Productions "How I Spent My Summer Vacation." Martin is currently on tour with the 20th Century
Fox Home Entertainment and Fox Gives: MILLION MOMENTS: GREAT MOMENTS, GREAT CAUSES mobile van tour. Travelling to 18 cities
over 14 weeks. The tour gives film fanatics the opportunity to recreate their favorite scenes from beloved Fox films. |
